I can't believe I'm selling this guitar but physical problems have curtailed my playing and I feel like it deserves a better home. This prewar 00-18 is definitely a player. There are numerous cracks professionally repaired, the body looks to have been refinished- it's a degree lighter in color than the neck. The top has a bunch of finish checking that you can see at some angles and can't see at other angles. The photos that I've included show them in their worst possible light but I wanted to make sure they could be seen. From the front, they are generally not visible as you can see from other photos. I was also told that the bridge is non standard. That's the bad stuff. The nut is original as are the frets but it still plays effortlessly. It's setup for 11-52s with great low finger style action but it's also a great flat picker and will surprise as a strummer. It's super light and responsive. All I can say about the sound is that real guitarists (a group of which I'm not a member) who have played it, absolutely loved it for tone and feel. It will ship in a Martin 00 thermoplastic case.
