SHADOW G-243 CUSTOM HAND BUILT  BY SHADOW ELECTRONICS CO. GERMANY. 1993 EXTRAORDINARILY RARE ALL ORIGINAL ABOUT THE GUITAR: DISCLOSURE: This guitar is CROSS CULTURAL and GENDER NEUTRAL.  Just heard that on the Diane Rehm radio show on PBS.  Fits this guitar certainly.  But now to figure out about others... "The guitar of tomorrow-from yesterday".. That is a fitting portrayal of this instrument.  It is advB enturesome so say the least and in need of someone more intelligent than me to play it.  I am satisfied that it can alone replace every guitar that someone may own by replicating, duplicating, recreating, et al every guitar sound, tone, inflection, deflection ..thinkable and unthinkable.  It is a SOUND GENERATOR.  And very collectible.  Very few made.  Very RARE configuration as to pickups etc.  Handmade by SHADOW ELECTRONICS COMPANY.  From their website: "Shadow Electronics stands for high quality...since 1971" Absolutely true. Joe Marinic, founder and President of Shadow Electronics, is a pioneer in guitar sound and tone. An online notation from Tom Benford (cpts-test.com) about these guitars: "Also while researching and writing my book I had the good fortune to learn about Shadow Guitars, the Shadow SHO75 guitar-to-MIDI interface and to become friends with Joe Marinic, the founder and president of SHADOW ELECTRONICS OF GERMAN. These absolutely exquisite solid-body guitars were hand-made in very limited numbers in Germany. The quality of the materials used and the workmanship is truly world-class. However, due to the high cost of materials and hand-building each instrument, plus import duties, the cost of these outstanding guitars was prohibitively high in comparison to mass-produced instruments, so Shadow stopped making guitars around 1994 and devoted its efforts entirely to producing world-class pickups for guitars and other instruments under the Shadow brand as well as making them for virtually every major guitar manufacturer as well."
