I first stumbled across Prestige guitars by accident. But it was a nice surprise. I bought one of their Heritage electric guitars thinking it was from another manufacturer. When I received it and checked it out and played it I decided I came out the winner. I called up prestige the next day and became a dealer. Over the years I have been very impressed with each guitar I have received from them. They use top quality woods and electronics which offer great curb appeal. On closer inspection you can see that each is skillfully crafted and you find that they play effortlessly. Then you plug them in and realize you have a great tone machine as well. This particular Heritage Elite is a B- Stock item. I can’t say that I have found anything on this guitar. There is a scratch on the headstock from the truss rod cover to the binding on the bass side - about 1/4" long. Prestige has extremely high quality control standards and I have found many of their B Stock guitars are extremely clean. They offer their full manufacturers warranty on these as well. Though listed as a "used" item it is actually like new! Many of their instruments come to them as discontinued or overstocked items. Some may be a slightly different color than the intended color. Some just need a proper setup. None are previously owned. If there is any item not functioning properly the refurbish center has a dozen authorized luthiers who make the adjustments. The reason these instruments are listed this way is to avoid fraudulent warranty claims. The refurbishing centers, and our store, are required by the manufacturers to label them as used. These centers test, check and fix any minor flaws that might have been incurred during the manufacturing of the instrument. They make sure the instrument is in top playing condition before shipping it out. We also personally inspect each instrument before listing it and again before shipping it. Everything that leaves our store is in working order (unless otherwise stated). There is rarely a noticeable flaw in these items to qualify them as used and when there is, we will always note it in the item description and provide clear photos.
