| DescriptionPAUL REED SMITH SET NECK GUITAR. 1985. SN: 5-0380 RARE WHITE. FIRST YEAR OF MANUFACTURE. ONLY 400 BUILT IN 1985. FROM MY PERSONAL PRS COLLECTION. Short of owning a pre-factory Paul Reed Smith, a SET NECK guitar from the first year of production, 1985, are among the most collectible of all PRS guitars. PRS purists may argue otherwise but within the historic parameters of factors determining the collectability value of a guitar, earliest pieces always carry a trump card. THE GUITAR. 1. All original. 2. Mahogany body and neck. 3. White Opaque Nitro Finish. 4. Brazilian Rosewood Fretboard. 5. PRS stock pickups. 6. Moon inlays. 7. PRS locking tuners. 8. Case appears to be original black but cannot guarantee that. CONDITION. Overall, this guitar is in VERY GOOD condition. The finish shows the usual scratches and dings that come from having been played. The frets are dimpled as shown in the photos. That is a mismatch with the rest of the guitar which actually shows much less signs of wear-maybe the player wore a surgical gown when he/she played it. And, to me the finish was starting to yellow a bit around the knobs and top curve of the body. Now, that is really cool. Can you imagine a PRS showing the signs of vintage yellowing of its finish? Once buyer receives this guitar, she/he, has 48 hours to inspect it and report any problems or concerns to us. If I cannot resolve these problems or concerns to the satisfaction of the buyer, the guitar can be returned to me for a full refund (again in accordance with ebay and PayPal rules and regulations). 3.
