This listing is for a "10 for 15" limited edition hardtail strat. Only 500 of these were made by Fender. This is a "made in USA" strat. Not a MX model. Sounds great with more sustain and resonance than a typical strat, but still has all the classic strat tones. Stays in tune very well. The guitar is in reasonable condition but has some fine scratches on the pick guard and upper body. There is also some minor wear to the frets which can be faintly seen in the photos. Played at home only, never gigged. It also has a couple of dings on the back (pictured) and some very light indentations towards the top of the neck (also pictured). Includes Fender gig bag, Fender strap, guitar lead and a set of Allen keys. NOTE 1: the guitar has been upgraded to Creamery pickups ("big dipper" on the neck and 69's on the bridge and middle). These actually sound very similar to the original pickups, which are Fender Custom 69's. If the buyer wishes, the original pickups can be put back in the guitar. NOTE 2: the volume pot has been replaced with one that has more "resistance", the original pot can be put back in the guitar if the buyer wishes. A review can be found here: Free postage to UK.
