Gibson Les Paul CustomFor sale is an outstanding Gibson Les Paul Custom. Featuring a beautiful lightly figured Heritage Cherry Sunburst carved maple top, ebony fret board, rectangular pearl inlays, mahogany neck and body and gold hardware. Gibson zebra pickups provide that vintage tone. It's not real flashy, it's a players guitar.  To me it looks a lot better than the heavily figured top and loud colors. Gibson really got the colors right on this one. You'd never know it's a 24-year old guitar. I purchased it in 1995 and it has been only lightly used and always in its case when not in use. Some of the hardware has oxidized and I replaced the pickguard bracket and the jack plate with authentic Gibson brand replacements. I will also include the original hardware so you can go back to it if you want. You can see oxidation on some of the tuners in the photos. I'll include a brand new set of matching Schaller gold tuners with the purchase. I bought them to install but never got around to it. Whether you want to install them or not is up to you. You can always sell them. There are a couple of very minor nicks on the back of the body just above the electronics cover plate. They don’t penetrate through the finish. Other than those few blemishes, the hardware oxidation, and two very very small chips on the back of the headstock treble side edge, this guitar is cosmetically excellent. Frets also show very little wear. The guitar plays and sounds great. Comes with Gibson OHSC in very good condition too.The first three numbers in the serial number were apparently very lightly struck as was the "Made In USA" stamp. I was able to get the full serial number to show up but "Made In USA" doesn't show in the photos. It is there and it is visible.  According to guitardaterproject.org,this guitar was made at the Gibson Nashville TN Plant, USA, January 4th, 1993. Production Number: 57Please look closely at all of the photos and if there’s a specific one you’d like to see taken, let me know and I’ll do my best to get it for you. Also, please contact me with any questions you have before deciding to buy this guitar.
