Up for sale is a vintage French Selmer 1950's K Modified Flugelhorn. This flugel is like new and one would think it was stored in a time capsule. Horn has no trauma or dents-silver plating in great shape. Valves are great as well. Warm buttery flugel sound. This is the model that Chet Baker and Clark Terry played in the late 50's and early 60's. There are a few youtube videos of Clark Terry playing this model flugel. You don't see these all that often on eBay and this one is a beauty. There is a lacquer model on Reverb right now with an asking price of $3,500. I have been buying and selling horns for over 20 years and this is the first vintage Selmer flugel I have come across. This one can be added to collection or used as an everyday player. Really cool looking horn which will be the start of many conversations when you are playing a gig with this horn. Sale is for the horn and the coriginal case that is in the photos. The latches work perfectly even though the case shows some wear. Horn will be shipped via UPS or FedEx with insurance for the full sale price.
