For sale is this incredible ’59 Tele Reissue from Fender’s Custom Shop! The lightweight alder body is finished in a thin Shoreline Gold Metallic nitrocellulose lacquer finish and given the “Journeyman Relic” treatment, which essentially mimics a guitar that was toured with but taken good care of. The tinted quartersawn maple neck has a ’59 Esquire “C” Shape and a rose wood fingerboard with a 9.5” radius. The pickups consist of hand-wound 1958 Tele pickups in both the neck and bridge, which are ultra-responsive and super-dynamic! The original aged white pick guard was replaced with a very nice black bakelite guard, but the original will be included in the case. This tele is all-original and in excellent, like-new condition. It comes with the original case and case candy. The COA has been misplaced, but Fender says they will re-issue a Certificate of Authenticity for around $75. I’ve just never found the need to spend the extra money, as the COA doesn’t make me play any better ;)
