FOR SALE: This here is a prize of the personal collection. This is a SUPER RARE (A UNICORN) 1992 Matchless DC30 4x10 combo, made in the coveted Sampson Era. There is only a handfull of these in existance, and per Matchless, Jimmy Vaughn owns 4 of the 6-7 of them. This one is in great shape, has some scuffs, bumps and bruises. Character. Works FLAWLESSLY and has a sweet set of Baldwin Sylvania matched EL84 CQB5 output tubes and a sweet mixture of vintage preamp tubes. The preamp tubes were selected by hand for each spot, the sweetest that could be. The tone? WOW. So warm and fat, yet has that sweet open top end that you are looking for in a Matchless. Very 3-demesional! The speakers make is SO nice. It plays REALLY good at low volumes too, the speakers help that so it is nice to play at home indoors. Everything works and the pots and sockets were recently serviced and well-kept. It comes complete with a matching road case. This is actually very easy to move. It is waist-high, so no bending over and hurting your back! Just roll it where you want, bend your elbow and easily lift it out and set it on the floor. When it is time to go, repeat. Very easy and neat. No extra cables to haul, nothing. Plug in and play. It will be professionally packed in its road case to arrive to you safely, tubes removed and stored, etc. Go ahead and Google this amp...you will see its rarety. Thank you so much for looking.
