Original condition Conn 8D; 1962 - 1963 Elkhart model.Up for auction is a rough condition Conn 8D with serial number 992XXX. This should be a late 1962 or possibly a 1963 model. This horn is all original and although it looks like it has seen better days, it actually still plays well and has great valve compression being rated 10/10 by the seller. The lead pipe is in good condition but the bell, while original, has had some straightening work completed and is not perfectly restored. All slides function as they should although one has a large dent (in pictures.) Horn comes with an original Conn case. No mouthpiece. There are many flaws in the finish and lots of small dents and dings. I tried to capture the worst of the issues in the auction pictures.This horn would be a good candidate for reconditioning.Please contact me with any questions you have and I'll answer them to the best of my knowledge. This is a horn that is over 50 years old. Please consider this when purchasing. Bids from buyers with zero or negative feedback will be removed. Buyer pays actual shipping costs.
