Up for grabs today is what many consider to be the holy grail of fuzz pedals, an original 1975 Tycobrahe Octavia Octave Fuzz. This pedal works absolutely perfectly. No excess noise, no scratchy pots. This pedal is truly one of a kind. Cranked it provides an insane amount of fuzz and sustain. Dial it back and you can get a pure octave pedal on the higher frets. I have never heard anything like this pedal. This truly does deliver the tone Jimi made famous. This is NOT a reissue! This is the real deal. The pedal is in used condition with cosmetic wear from use and age. The paint is chipping off in several spots, and there is a bit of surface rust. The electronic components are in great shape and are rust free. This pedal was just serviced. It had a two bad capacitors which were replaced. The original pots were damaged, so rather than replace them, I had the original pots rebuilt and put back into the pedal. Date codes on the pot date it to 1975. Other than the two bad caps, the battery terminal, feet, screws, and one knob everything else is original. I can provide documentation of the service if requested. The original tone is all there, and this thing sounds absolutely amazing. It is one of those pedals where you can't help but smile when you plug it in and hear it. It operates flawlessly, and is ready to rock for another 40+ years. Do not miss out! These rarely come up for sale!
