INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS MUST CONTACT ME FIRST PRIOR TO BIDDING, BUYING OR MAKING OFFERS!!!!Here is a great chance to save big time on one of these fantastic guitars!!! Up for a buy it now or best offer is a killer very recent Gibson 1963 Historic Custom Shop VOS 1963 ES335 TDC done in a beautiful cherry finish, which Gibson calls Sixties Cherry, s/n 41942 stamped in the back of the headstock and written on the label. The guitar is a VOS finish with all the good Gibson Historic nickel hardware (nylon saddle ABR1, lightweight tail, and accurate Kluson deluxe single line/double ring tuners) , electronics (Historic VOS Nickel PAFS and Bumblebee caps), trim (Historic wide bevel guard and truss cover) and body & neck construction, with proper dimensions, Holly head veneer, bracing, neck joint, etc). It is a new guitar that got slightly damaged in shipping. There is a very light crack at the headstock that is pretty small, and has not been repaired in any way and still holds perfect stable tune. It plays and sounds wonderful as its sits, actually it plays and sounds AMAZING!!!. If gigging with it, you may want to take it to a good luthier to have it injected with a quality glue to make sure it does not get worse and is road worthy (they may say to leave it be though as it is not very deep at all), but if taking it out of the case to play at home, I would think you could  leave it be, but either way, that will be your ( I gigged with a L-5S for 15 years that was worse than this, and never had it repaired and never had an issue with it). I tried to take good clear pics of this so check them out, and I can take more under different lighting if you want, so ask!. Other than that the guitar is basically new, with maybe a few TINY handling marks, but it is an unplayed guitar for the most part.  The neck on this guitar is to die for, the rolled binding edges and a wonderful C profile with the 1 11/16" width, feels like like a perfect vintage 63-64 Gibson neck, maybe a little beefier than some other true vintage early 60s Gibsons I have owned actually, it just fits so comfortably in the palm of your hand. The pickups are wonderful in these guitars and this one is no exception. This is one of those guitars that when you strum it the neck and body vibrate in your hand and against your chest as only real good electrics will, and it rings out beautifully!!! This is just a real good guitar!! One of the original flat wound strings (the A) was snapped so that was replaced with a same gauge round wound (thats all I had on hand), but the original string is included. Other than the string the guitar is 100% factory original, and still has 2 of its hang tags one for the bumblebee caps, and the other for the strings, sorry no cert it is MIA. The Memphis Tenn, orange oval label  looks to me as there was a mistamp, the wrong model/serial number (its hard to tell) on it and it was corrected at the factory, see pics again! Please look at all of the pics as that is part of the description, ask questions, and if you need more pics, please ask!!! The guitar comes shipped in its also near perfect orginal Gibson hard case.   SHIPPING WILL BE CHEAPER THAN POSTED THE CLOSER YOU LIVE TO NY!!! Thanks, Rob 315 298 6797.
