1965 Fender Bassman AB165 circuit In great shape. This is a vintage classic! Tube chart sticker is OA, meaning built January, 1965. Circuit is AB165 - a sought after transitional amp circuit. Amp was serviced  before it went to storage. Technician made one minor modification, which is documented on the included circuit diagram. The attached pictures reflect the amp condition – which I’d describe as 'Good'.   Back panel is missing. Apart from that, this amp runs and plays like a dream. I bought it quite awhile ago and had it in AC storage for over 10 years while I was overseas. I love this amp, but I can't keep them all, so...Guitarists Love Bassman Amps - A Brief History:Though the original 1952 design was intended and marketed as a bass guitar amplifier, guitar players all over quickly adopted these venerable amps as their own thanks to amazing breakup and beefy bottom end. The "blackface" Bassman amps with AA165 and AB165 circuits from the mid-60s are often heralded as the cream of the crop for classic rock tones, and their ability to take pedals well makes them a great choice for the modern player with a packed pedal board. This amp is dripping with tone and starts getting into the sweet spot around 5 or 6, with hum bucking pickups.Jump the two channels for more tone!!The AB165 Bassman channels are in phase and can be used together. Jumping channels in the AB165 Bassman will give you a wider spectrum of tones than by using just one channel. You may for example use the bass channel for the deepest bass tones and the normal channel for sparkling clean sound with bright switch on and zero bass, giving you an extremely full and meaty tone which you won’t get using just one channel. (secret hint: put a reverb or chorus pedal in the jumper path and good things happen). Competitively priced. Reasonable offers accepted.  Sorry, US and Canada bidders only.
