Vintage Pultec EQP 1A3 Tube EQ This is an amazing sounding EQ with that “ViBe” you can only get with vintage gear as it was compared to one of the new EQP 1A3's new made from pulse. There is just that better sounding “thing” it has that newer gear doesn't. That said, it is in very good condition for it's age (see pics). You can actually hear what it sounds like, as it was used on every one of Eric Johnson's guitar tracks on his new all acoustic guitar album recently recorded. It has a couple of scratchy pots common with vintage gear but that once dialed in settle with no noise...It has been recapped, see pics, 2 caps replace the 1 original sprague silver cap which sound just fine. You can replace them to the original one silver cap if aesthetics is your thing but personally I would not bother as it sounds great as is...Original Triad, Peerless, and UTC transformers...Please feel free to contact me with any questions or verifications My personal friend is Eric Johnson's engineer where this EQ lives now in his non smoking home studio...Thanks for looking and HaPPy BiDDiNg!!Shipping cost is $50 to lower 48 states fully insured...Any other places please contact me prior to bidding.
