Up for sale here is a fantastic vintage american instrument, the Silvertone 1446 'Chris Isaak', made in the USA in 1964. These instruments are under appreciated classics, used by those in the know (Chris Isaak, Bryce & Aaron Dessner, Bruce Springsteen, Annie Clark).These models were catalogue guitars in the 1960s but they are very well made nonetheless. Indeed, this was the top of the line guitar that came with gibson mini hum buckers so it sounds like a firebird or an epiphone riviera. Fully hollow body with a pat. no bigsby for that warble and flutter.This guitar roars, it does the Neil Young thing, it can do country, rockabilly, you name it. Absolutely love it. Only selling to fund house purchase.It's in all original condition, pickguard is in the case. I prefer it off. Plays very well, neck is straight and frets are in good condition.
