I am selling my Fender American standard strat with a Eric Johnson replacement neck. I loved the look of the neck without string trees due to the receding tuners. As far as the pickups go, I have put Seymour Duncan low output jazz humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions to blend well with the fat 50's single coil in the middle. It also has an S1 switch for increased pickup combinations. With the switch in the up position the 5 way switch acts as a auto split where in positions 2 and 4 it splits the humbuckers in combination with the middle single coil. Positions 1, 3, and 5 are like you would normally expect. With the S1 switch down though, the auto split feature is switch off and now you can get the bridge humbucker as position 1 normally as you do with the switch up, but in position 2 you get humbucker and single coil. In position 3 it is the single coil alone. In position 4 you get all three pickups full on. In position 5 you get both humbuckers. It's a great looking crazy versatile guitar, it plays super buttery and sounds incredible. I've also added a few tonal upgrades as well including a brass block and pure vintage steel saddles. All in all a great guitar and head turner at gigs. I don't want to sell it, but I have to cut down on the collection. I'm selling it with the pictured roadrunner gig bag. Thanks for giving it a look.
