The Gibson Little Lucille is a very rare guitar. It was a product of the Hawk series of guitars from Gibson that began with the Night Hawk in 1993, and expanded with the BluesHawk in 1996. Then, to top the range off, in 1999 Gibson came out with a smaller version of the famous "Lucille" played by BB King. This guitar is a deluxe BluesHawk, in an Ebony finish with gold hardwear, cream body and neck binding, and a brass truss cover engraved with "BB KING”. Tonally the guitar works well for blues, rock and jazz, with a smooth, warm tone and lots of sustain. The playability is very easy with a comfortable feeling neck and great action. The guitar is in excellent condition, all original, and comes in it’s original Gibson embossed hard case.
