Description
MPN: Conn Country/Region of Manufacture: United States

This pair of clarinets in Bb and A are built in the Pupeschi System I believe. They were certainly made in the early Conn factory in Worchester, Mass. The unique "S" mechanism on the octave appears on the other early American makers. On the upper isde keys there are five keys and five holes. The holes are G# and the C# hole which go through the tenon. The G# is also coupled to low E. The low E has a small touch above the main touch for the C# G#. There is a coupled ring and covered hole on low B. There is a vent key below the touches for low F and low G#. The keys are beautifully sculpted and finely plated. The body material is some sort of plastic. The hole placement is basic Albert System. As most collectors know there were many different configurations of keys and systems for clarinet after the invention of the successful Boehm System. The case is in good and usable condition. All latches work and there is a new handle. The entire outfit is unique and many views will never have seen clarinets such as these.Shipping is free in the USA.
