This James Galway Professional Flute is a beautiful addition to any collection! This unit is old stock and was a floor display model, kept in a locked display case and only handled under the supervision of employees. Shows some slight discoloration around the keys due to aging, and there are faint scratches from normal use but can possibly be polished out (SEE PHOTOS). It has been inspected and approved by our in-house repair shop and is in fantastic condition. Includes Case, Case Cover, Cleaning Rod, and Polish Cloth. In 2008, Sir James Galway asked Conn-Selmer to undertake a joint venture to produce a flute that students could be proud to own and inspired to play. He also wanted it to be a part of his year-long 70th birthday celebration. Of course, Conn-Selmer accepted the challenge of the master. In August of 2009, Conn-Selmer brought 40 prototype flutes to the National Flute Association Convention in New York. The response from both flutist and teacher attendees was overwhelmingly positive.
