Here is a beautiful Vintage 1985 GIBSON SG Special 400 electric guitar with tremolo arm. This version is the rarely seen "Coral" or "Pink Panther" color. This guitar has 3 switches and 2 knobs for volume and treble, and features an autograph on the back that appears to read " Jon E", though we are not able to confirm who signed it. The guitar head stock bears the "Gibson" logo, and on the backside shows the Serial Number "82245530", as well as "BGN."Guitar has been tested, and it's ready to rock! The paint job shows some discoloration, it appears that the previous owner may have tried to do some work to the color, resulting in two different tones of pink. There is a crack where the neck meets the body, with some minor crazing to the paint throughout,and some other minor surface abrasions. The guitar headstock bears the "Gibson" logo, and on the backside shows the Serial Number "82245530", as well as "BGN." Guitar has been tested, and it's ready to rock! As seen in our photos, the original pink paint job shows some discoloration. It appears that the previous owner may have tried to do some work to the color to remove some age-related surface discoloration, resulting in two different tones of pink when they gave up half way. There is a rather common crack in just the paint where the neck meets the body, with some minor non-structural crazing to the paint here and there, and some other common minor surface abrasions but the instrument is completely sound and totally playable. Overall this is a great rare guitar that will make anyone stand out at their next gig. Dimensions:
