Up for sale is this very clean 1964-1965 fender deluxe reverb. The amp is all original except for the speaker and wiring harness. The speaker is a 1965 Jensen that has been reconed. Thus, it is era-correct but not original to this amplifier.All the transformers date to 1964. But the date code on the chassis itself places it as having left the factory in the very early weeks of 1965.The amp sounds heavenly. The reverb is lush and full. Breaks up very nicely when turned past six or so.The circuit itself is completely untouched and original. There is one small ground wire between the turret board and the chassis that has been re-soldered (as it had come loose). Technically, this is not part of the circuit, so the circuit itself is still completely untouched.A couple of the tubes were shot when I acquired it, even though they are original. I will include them with the amp along with the replacement tubes, which are for the most part vintage and era correct.I have left it unmodified for the sake of originality. You may wish to give it a recap if you so choose. Pictures show all the very minor cosmetic flaws.I will ship the speaker separately to ensure safety in shipment.Comes with the original footswitch and a more recent fender deluxe reverb vinyl cover.Price is $3499.99 shipping is $64.99 to the domestic USA.
