Dave is a “master of wood”. He creates pieces of art that are also guitars. This Les Paul design is an excellent example of his craftsmanship. Look at the photos to see how he has combined these woods on this guitar: Maple, mahogany, purple heartwood, etc. in different grains, e.g., flame, quilt, bird’s eye, burled, etc. The art of this guitar comes not only from the woods used in terms of their color and grain but also in the pattern of the arrangement of the different woods by sections in an angled pattern with the woods sometimes complementing the one next to it while other times contrasting to it. Note: Because of the hand cutting and fitting of these sections of wood, you will see slight imperfections in the joinery including slight gaps etc.-take those as they are-the result of handmade craftsmanship.
The body is 2” thick and has six layers glued and laminated together. The weight of this guitar is 9.77 pounds.
Has hand rubbed satin oil finish.

Pickups are standard unbranded that produce excellent tone and loud volume. Combined with the laminated body they give this guitar a warm and full resonance with great sustain. Reminiscent of standard Les Paul guitars but it sounds much deeper to me.

CONDITION OF THE GUITAR:
Excellent. Only played a few times.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Understanding the normal hesitation of buying a unique one off handmade guitar, I want to make sure this guitar makes you happy. To accomplish that, I want you to try it for 72 hours (three days). Play it, hold it, walk around with it on your back, sleep with it-whatever it takes for you to make sure it is the one for you. During that time, you can return it for a full refund of your payment price (but of course it needs to be treated well while you have as I expect you will) less shipping cost and you must pay the cost to ship it back to us. If it arrives damaged, please let me know immediately by email. Be sure to hold onto all packing material and the box. I will contact the shipper for an inspection. Remember that this can take up to a couple of weeks but I will rush it along. Minor problems. If there is a problem with the guitar when it arrives, e.g., loose wires etc. then I will work with you to get it repaired by someone in your area.
