5 photos uploaded, but only 1 shows up... Must be temporary eBay problem. Price is pair ( two ) speakers, without cabinets. I really hate to sell my beloved Altec 904-8A monitors that I have had for the past 35 years. But, I am moving to a smaller home and just don't have the room. These are the 125 watt version of the famous Altec 604. Some say they prefer the HI-FI sound of the 604. These can be changed to "hi-fi" by switching out the HF diaphragm. But, In my opinion, these sound just fine as they are. These were used as the small monitors in my studio with a 604B as the center speaker and there wasn't much, if any difference in the sound. Although, these do have a more robust and smooth low end. Shipping weight is estimated WITHOUT cabinets, and for EACH speaker. The crossovers are aftermarket, not Altec. I will throw them in for free if the buyer wants them. If the buyer wants the cabinets, I would estimate 80lbs each with speakers. Slight discoloration on one cone due to migration of the surround glue does not affect sound. This is normal for speakers this age. In good working condition, no buzzing or other problems. The "Mantaray" sticker is missing from one horn.
