Listed here is a fully functional 2006 Ibanez S Prestige S4170AB. This guitar always turns heads with its slim body and beautiful top.I am listing this guitar as a 2006. That is what the guitar dater website says it is. However, this model was not released until mid 2007. The first 4 digits are 0608. It was sold to me as a June 2008 guitar.The S4170AB is a Prestige guitar. Features a mahogany body with an ash burl top, Wizard II Prestige neck.Loaded with guitarheads mega metal humbuckers and stock single coil. The long bar on the mega metals allows for huge bends and also provides endless sustain. It is a Anisotropic ferrite ceramic magnet. They are high output, clean and clear with a bell like high end and tight low end.I also installed locking tuners...seems pointless on a locking trem and nut but I used to put locking tuners on everything.The volume knob has an orange drop treble bleed and the tone knob has a .o22 paper in oil capacitor.All hardware has been changed from cosmo black to black.Comes with three whammy bars and case.In my opinion the best feature is the neck through body. This is the only S Prestige to date that features a neck through body. This makes playing above the 15 fret a dream and I feel adds the mojo many guitars today are missing. I have also found that this guitar is rare. Not many of these made their way to the states.I would say the finish is in very good condition besides for a few light swirl marks on the back and front side. These are common on high gloss finishes. I also included two pictures of small scratches in the clear coat on the top. Also, these pictures do not do this guitar justice.The frets are around 85-90%Sorry International shoppers. I am not allowed to ship this guitar outside of the United States.
