Bartolini pickups with NTMB active EQ serve up the ultimate in tonal range and control. Its neck is a hi-tech marvel, an ultra-rigid D-shaped shell made from dozens of hand-formed layers of aerospace-grade, epoxy-impregnated carbon fibers and fitted with a fast, ultra-smooth phenolic fretboard. The neck's miraculous strength-to-weight ratio and extreme resonant peak produce a remarkably unclouded, even tone. It also transmits sound faster that wood, so articulation and attack dynamics are dramatically enhanced. Includes hardshell case.I am the second owner. This bass has its fair share of small dings and scratches as it was built in 1999.
