Gibson SG Standard, year 1977, Cherry Red /Cherry Heritage, vintage guitarA very beautiful old Gibson SG Standard, Cherry Red, made in 1977. The guitar has serial number: 06134382, which means it was made in 1977, (06), on 13 April (134) in the factory in Kalamazoo (Michigan) 382. The factory in Kalamazoo was laid down in 1984.Condition: Wears signs of use of course, but only slight defects, a little scratches here and there and worn down polish on back of neck. A few notches on neck top.  Everything is absolutely original, nothing is exchanged except for strings of course. Very nice sound from two original humbuckers and an incredibly easily played guitar. A very high quality guitar, like every other Gibson originals. The guitar works flawlessly, no loose contacts or knobs, they are fastened steady still. It is currently adjusted so the strings are perfectly aligned with the fret board. You almost doesn't have to press the strings to make a sound. Perfect for tremolo and tap on techniques. The strings should be replaced, they are old, and then you can wash the fret board which is a bit shabby. The thin neck making it even more easy-to-play and has a perfect balance, neither heavy at front or back.Original hard case is missing, but is sold with a soft bag for protection. If serious buyers are interested, more pictures can be arranged. Close ups etc...The guitar is in Stockholm, pickup works best for a Swedish buyer. If sent, we will arrange the best possible shipping methods and packaging, and insurance as it is a expensive piece of guitar.Very nice guitar that gave me a lot of fun when I was playing in bands. But has now most been collecting dust the last 10 years. It is rumored that Magnus Uggla's(famous Swedish artist) guitarist in the 70's has owned it, according to the seller at the store 'The Guitar Store' in Stockholm.Take your chance, these are unusual for sale today! A true Angus Young guitar. The intro to Thunderstruck is easily played with this one and with a Marshall stack, it really sounds AC/DC. Fat sounding guitar. One body guitar with mahogany body, fret board as well with birch and maple layers. The 'Gibson' text on top is made of pearl inlays, also between the frets and at the top the Gibson symbol, looks like a flower or something. I think it has a maple top, if not it is mahogany. The frets are still in good condition, does not need to be replaced yet.Dimensions: Length: 100 cm longWidth body: 33 cm widest part of the body at the back.Weight: Body aprox 4.2 lb or 2 kg, in total with neck and top aprox. 6.5 lb or near 3 kg.
