This is a really fantastic reso chamber tenor sax mouthpiece. Its in great condition with all of the original lettering intact, just has some slight discolouration in the rubber towards the shank from age. But considering this piece is from the 1940s, its really looking very good. Serial #: M12Its been opened up from a 4 to a 5* tip by Ted Klum and the work is phenomenal. Tip, table and rails are looking pristine and the table stamped '4' is still completely visible. Has a darker tone to it IMO, but can project with ease. I used various sizes of reeds on it and every one worked very well so this piece is totally reed friendly. Don't let the smaller tip shy you away, as this piece can play like crazy!Always played with a tooth patch.HAPPY BIDDING!
