Here's my Danelectro Double Neck 3923 as played by none other than Stan & Dan. I've never actually heard Stan or Dan, but I have heard this guitar, and it is cool in a way only an original Danelectro can be. As you can see by the pot codes, this guitar is from late '64, by which time Danelectro had switched over to "skate key" tuners, triangle neck bolt pattern with neck heel adjustment, and metal access cover on the back of the guitar.Everything works as it should on this guitar. The original Carling pickup switch is as funky and occasionally intermittent as you'd expect. Aside from your normal wear in the copperburst along the lower bass bout and the back of the necks, the only real cosmetic issue is the crack in the bass pick guard. I may even have another one to put on there. Other than that, this is original down to every screw.Check this out!The chap in the video link isn't me, and that's not my guitar. It's just a sample of what one of these sounds like. Trust me, there's no comparison between the reissues and the real deal.Comes with a "modified" Gibson 1275 case, which is rather large and the reason the shipping will probably be high.I'm open to offers, but please be serious."As Is" sale, with all sales final.
