MooreTone Fender Telecaster in 1952 Copper Metallic. This is a one-off reproduction I did of a 1952 Metallic Copper telecaster with modern boutique upgradesI make all my products in Missouri, by hand, as authentic and perfect as I can. I don't sell anything I wouldn't want as my own, and would rather start over on a body than try and pass off an inferior job. If there is a small imperfection, I will note it and take pics if possible. I don't make much on these after expenses, but it keeps me calm, so it works out...lol.
I built this as a clone of the 1952 Fender Metallic Copper telecaster that was only a prototype color and never actually produced.
A re-issue was made as part of a limited edition Custom Shop run back in 2007, ( only 100 made), but those are reliced and expensive. Wilkenson bridge w/compensated saddles. SME period correct '51 Texas Special PUP's with wax-coated wire and hand wound.
4 way switch that has parallel capability in the switch along with the other 3 typical positions.
Old style caps, CTS pots, etc.
ALL Boutique electronics in this one. A true player's guitar.
Alder body for great tone.
Custom pickguard that is typical 8 hole (I never did like the 5 hole, so I used the 8)
Body is painted in period correct paint from ReRanch and is thin nitro with nitro gloss clear coat.
