The Yamaha Motif6 61-Key Music Production Synthesizer combines the best features of several Yamaha products in this all-in-one workstation to revolutionize your music making. It combines the world's most advanced synthesizer with a cutting-edge groove box, then adds an advanced sampler that integrates audio sampling and MIDI in a way never before achieved. Some of the Motif6 features include 61 keys with initial and after touch, an AWM2 tone generator, 62-note polyphony, sixteen-plus multitimbres, and effects including twelve reverbs, 25 choruses, and much more. Its sampler provides both analog and digital sampling, has 4MB of memory (expandable to 64), and allows 256 maximum waveforms of multisamples. The Motif6 onboard sequencer has a 200,000-note capacity. Remote external sequencing can be provided via Cubase VST, Logic Audio, Pro Tools, and Cakewalk. This workstation is expandable via 3 slots for Modular Synthesis Plug-in boards, one slot for mLAN8E or AIEB, and 2 slots for 72-pin SIMMs. External memory can be provided by SmartMedia card or SCSI to ZIP (option), to HD (option), or CD-ROM (option). Motiof6 controls include pitch-bend wheel, modulation wheel, master volume slider, assignable control slider, assignable knob, A/D input gain, and rotary encoder. Motif6 connections include left/mono, right 1/4" jacks, L/R assignable 1/4" output, 2 foot controller inputs, one footswitch input, one sustain pedal input, MIDI In/Out/Thru, A/D inputs (L/R, mic, line, stereo 1/4" jack), one breath controller input, stereo headphone output (1/4" jack), a SCSI connection, USB (MIDI 3 port), and optical (TOS-Link) digital out.
