I have a drop dead gorgeous Carvin CT4 here. Currently in the Kiesel production lineup this would be considered a CT3 or CT6. Previously CT4's were maple or otherwise topped guitars, CT6's were flamed tops and CT3's were plain mahogany without a top. They nixed the CT4 classification recently but this is essentially a CT4.It's a fine guitar close to near mint condition. Lightweight and resonant. good frets, a great setup. Solid black ebony board with a black gloss headstock to match. Metallic Carvin logo. String thru body. A Carvin hardshell case. And the flat very easy to play 14" fretboard radius. This specs out to about 1500$, not including sales tax on the Kiesel site currently. The color ( vintage cream)  and finish work is fantastic. This color is not as immediately eye catching as a transparent burst. Not quite as "bling" . But over time it really grows on you because it is warm pleasant color and you really can feel and sense the quality of the Carvin build and finish work. It's just a joy to play and behold these. Carvin's are built to order individually, and to me a well built Carvin just seems to have more soul and craftsmanship than similar priced production guitars. When you play it and listen to it you are gonna get the sense that someone really tried to make the best guitar they possibly could make. The best that they were capable of. And that is something i cannot say of even american made bracket priced guitars nowadays. I unabashedly love this brand. So take a look at all the pics, it's a mid to late 2000's model. But was taken great care of. It's got the best tuners in the world to, Sperzel american locking machine heads.I have a perfect brief description for the tone of this guitar. It has depth and clarity without sterility. With a maple top and Ebony board you have to wonder sometimes will that make a guitar to bright and compressed? This guitar has warmth, 3D detail, sustain, and clarity. One of the factors of this is the perfect thickness of the maple top. Previous older Carvin's the first generation Carved tops IMO had to thick of a maple top which made the guitar sound to much like maple and not enough like Mahogany. An ideal top should be about as thick as a fat fretboard, not much more than that. This one has perfectly balanced tone woods and construction in my opinion. And the tone exemplifies this.Ships insured and fast. Thanks for reading and considering. This is close to what the guitar is currently on the Kiesel site. I did a mock build of it and priced it out to 1500$ ish, not including sales tax.
