I'm selling my house with a game room and forced to sell jukebox, guitars and artwork in my man cave. Look at my other auctions. This started out as a 1979 Tuxedo 330 as did the original guitar. The original guitar was sold by Weller to the lead sing of Material Issue Jim Ellison. Shortly after he commuted suicide and the guitar has been seen since. I had a guitar shop fit the Humbucker and Ernie Ball Stings as the original. Then tore it down and had it painted based on a lot of photos of the original. I have seen a boutique run of reproduction out of Minnesota and they are not nearly as detailed oriented as I am. The back side is all wrong and the lettering doesn't follow the weird subtleties of the original. In 2010 I got to meet Weller and when he opened the case reluctantly his whole demeanor changed. He gasped and looked up at me and said " This is spot on mate! . . spot ..ON!" He then signed it "To Lee Peace! Paul Weller 2010". His people told me that he never signs guitars and that he was really impressed. I hate to sell it, but the new house doesn't lend itself to hanging guitars. The guitar is in perfect condition. It was used once in concert by a friends Jam cover band. The rest of the time it hangs in the custom VOX shadow box. The guitar shadow box is included with the sale. Pick up would be greatly preferred. The guitar also comes with its original Rickenbacker case also in great condition. I quoting $160 for shipping two packages. Guitar in fitted case and the empty shadow box. Thanks
