This vintage 1923 Gibson L-3 is a beautiful guitar but does have some issues. There is a crack in the sound board (near the tailpiece) as well as a crack that appears to be running through both shoulders. Please see photos for more information. We haven't strung this guitar up to full tension due to the crack so we cannot give an idea of the action once the strings are fully tuned. The Kluson-style tuners are still in good condition and don't appear to be crumbling. All of the binding appears to still be in good condition.The guitar features hand-carved solid bookmatched spruce top and maple back and sides.We will be shipping this guitar in it's original case.
