I have here one of the newest Mia mandolins in the Pulaski line. This one is the next evolution in my mandolin quest. It has a built in 3 position pickup, scalloped X spruce tone bars, and a hand rubbed tobacco staining with a polished shellac and lacquer finish. This beautiful solid hand carved F-style mandolin is built here in my shop in Greenbrier Arkansas. The look of the flaming on this one, turned out wonderful. The top is made of solid hand carved and graduated spruce with custom fit scalloped X spruce tone bars. The flamed maple neck is fitted with a rosewood fretboard, polished bone nut (3 cm) and an adjustable truss rod. The back and sides are carved from solid flamed maple. The mandolin has a warm woody tone that just begs for it to be played every Sunday morning. The mandolin is new and the case shown is included. The action on the mandolin strings is great, and it plays very easy. If you are going to get a mandolin, get a Mia, made in the USA.
