Up for your consideration is a vintage 1962 Fender Jaguar electric guitar with a 1965 Fender hard shell case. The guitar is missing the mute but still has the original whammy bar. It is all original with the exception of the volume pot which seems to have been replaced. There is some solder over the date code so I'm not sure how old the replacement pot is. The pickguard is starting to shrink which is common on these older Fenders with the real cellulose guards. Dan Erlewine over at StewMac recommends replacing the cellulose pickguard and saving the old one but I will leave it up to the buyer to decide if they want to do that or not. This guitar plays like butter! It has one of the best playing necks I've ever held! As a result this thing has been played a lot and has a ton of wear. It's a real relic! Dents, dings, finish checking...you name it. It has some fret wear but they still have plenty of life left in them. Please feel free to ask for more pictures and any other questions you might have.
