The body is a two-piece alder lake placid blue one I bought from Warmoth in the US. It's extremely light and resonant. Also features a Fender Toronado bridge, rather than the boring hardtail strat one. The plate has been very slightly countersunk so that the screws are a bit more flush and tighter to the body. There are probably wee nicks and marks in places on the finish, if anybody cares...The neck is from a MIJ Fender Pawn Shop Mustang. I sold the body as I didn't care much for its weight, colour, electronics etc and fancied configuring something better and more to my needs. As you can see from the pictures, the neck fits the body nice and tight with no gaps and required no shim in the neck pocket to get a really nice low action. There is hardly any fret wear (see pics) and the neck is straight with fully-functioning truss rod and original fender vintage-style tuners. The neck specs are 9.5" radius but pretty thin at the back, so really easy to play but flatter than the vintage mustangs for easier playability.Electronics:Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates (Neck)Seymour Duncan '59 Custom/Hybrid (Bridge)CTS 500k volume and tone potsSwitchcraft jack socketSwitchcraft Low-profile mustang switches - wired to allow bridge humbucker to be split (sounds great with this pickup) and still features the out-of-phase settings of a regular mustang. That's about it really. I really like this guitar but I tend to stick to my telecasters and I need the money, so off it goes. I'm sure most would agree that this is far superior to both the Japanese and Mexican pawn shop mustangs in it's tone and feel, with way more sustain and resonance.
