I am selling a Yitamusic M20+ Master Maggini model 16.25" viola.I purchased this brand new in March after reading about how these make wonderful 2nd instruments for serious players. The other instrument i tried was also Yitamusic, but was their 15.75" Guadagnini model in the T20 level (actually one level lower than this).I have decided to sell this instrument because the string length of the Guadagnini model viola is 1mm shorter than my professional instrument. The Maggini model has a large body but short string length, which makes it easier to play an instrument with more of that warm beautiful tone that larger instruments produce. However, it has a string length approximately 1cm shorter than my instrument, and I'd rather not deal with 2 very different string lengths. This instrument has been adjusted by a professional luthier and is strung with Thomastik-Infeld Peter Infeld PI strings that just came off my professional instrument. They're not fresh, but they do have some life in them left and still sound good and play well. It could stand a little more work, but that would depend on your requirements and your luthier. They come with garbage strings, the post in the wrong place, the bridge not finished, needing peg dope and the chinrest removed from the varnish and rearranged, AND 3-4 week delivery from the workshop. As opposed to playable and there in a few days.
