I bought this guitar new in Lakewood, CA near the end of my rock band days. Was used for in a band for about a year, then off and on at home since. The case is a fender re-issue which has never been out of the house. The guitar is original except for a professional neck refinish and re-fret done in 1995, and the addition of a second period-correct string tree. Pickup wires were reconfigured at the control end to allow the middle switch position to employ both pick-ups. Originally, as with older teles, both the front and middle position engaged the neck pick-up only. Original wires were retained and only reconnected at the control switch. It plays well. Weight is around 8 lbs. by my bathroom scales.
Has a few small chips plus and two small rubber burns on the bottom rear from a cheap stand. Pot Nos: 032 367 250k AUD 304-6617. When I bought the guitar I did not get a case. The store was going to charge extra for a case, so I got a vinyl gig big which I disposed of years ago.
