Up for sale is a lightweight Warmoth 2-piece alder body for Fender Stratocaster with gold hardware and pickguard.
It is routed for a 9V battery compartment at the back, making it an ideal upgrade to a Fender Eric Clapton Strat, or other guitar with active electronics.
The body is covered with 23k genuine (not imitation) gold leaves and finished in glossy candy tangerine polyurethane finish. It doesn't get much more custom than that!Some use imitation leaves which only cost $15 worth of leaves to cover a guitar body like this. In contrast, genuine double patent 23k gold leaves cost $160. The body has a few finish imperfections/blemishes here and there as shown in the included pictures. Those are generally impossible to see once the hardware is installed. The hardware and pickguard also have normal wear.
