The Ribbon Pre is a great studio preamp not only for ribbon mics. It works surprisingly well with all dynamic mics - even your Sure 57 will sound like a new mic. Plenty of super clean gain. There are two preamps actually - 2 ins, 2 outs. So it's convenient for recording overheads or a stereo setup. I've bought it a few months ago for a recording session that was canceled.It's virtually new with all docs and warranty. The smaller box is a power unit of the preamp.Check out my other studio items.Thank you!
