The guitar pictured is the actual guitar you will receive! At The Farm, we take actual pictures of each instrument and make sure they are fully set-up and ready to play before we ship them. Each instrument goes through a multi-point inspection, followed by a set-up process by our in-house tech staff. We then photograph each instrument with high-quality equipment in our on-site photography studio. We know that details like wood grain and color finishes can vary, so we want you to be able to see, to the best of our ability, exactly what you will be receiving. This process takes over an hour for each instrument - from inspection to pictures. We care about the instrument we put into your hands! Rest assured your guitar was not just plucked off of a shelf and drop-shipped to you from a warehouse without the care that it, and you, deserve.   The Gibson Les Paul Classic series began in 1990 with the Les Paul Classic, a reissue based on the 1960 Les Paul. The key feature of the Les Paul Classic is it's slim neck profile. The Les Paul Classic also has some other features true to the 1960 original: aged yellowish fretboard inlays, inked-on serial number, nickel hardware, vintage-style logo and aged binding on body and neck. Some differences are the Les Paul Classic's truss rod cover with "Classic" and pickguard engraved "1960", and pickups with no covers so the coils were exposed, another characteristic to differentiate it from other Les Pauls.
This Les Paul Classic 1960 reissue is crafted with all the classic ingredients that helped to make this model a legend. A solid Mah body pumps out depth and richness. A bound Mah neck is in the 1960 neck profile that first helped to make Les Pauls the fastest players on earth back in 1960. The set neck is topped with a bound RW fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and aged trapezoid inlays.
To launch all of this tonal goodness into the stratosphere, this Les Paul Classic 1960 reissue is equipped with dual humbuckers that are installed uncovered, to mirror a popular modification of the 1960s believed to enhance high-end response. A Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece ensure a solid anchor and optimum sustain, while a set of vintage-style tuners with Pearloid buttons take the classic look right over the top. Further appointments include Mother-of-Pearl Gibson headstock logo and silkscreened gold "Les Paul Classic," cream binding and pickguard, featuring a gold-stamped 1960 logo, and gold Top-Hat knobs.   This guitar came in to The Farm on trade and is in very good condition, however it does have normal surface scratches and some string wear on the pickups. According to the serial number, it was made in 2003. Made in the USA. It comes with a Gibson USA hardshell case with combination lock and attached interior dust cover. The original instructions for setting up the combination lock are in the case. We have taken detailed photos, please look through them before purchasing. At The Music Farm, we take quality seriously! That is why we have our in-house technicians do a multi-point inspection on each product, ensuring that it'll be ready to play when it hits your hands! Included in your shipment will be instructions on care and maintenance.  We want to help you Grow Your Passion®
