Beautiful Jeanné oboe gouging machine in good condition. Solid brass, smooth action, with a hand-friendly wooden gouge handle. These machines were originally designed after consultation with the late Cleveland Principal Oboist John Mack. They are built so that everything can be easily adjusted – allowing for greater flexibility and consistency in your reed making. Blade can be adjusted for depth and lateral action. Today, the purchase price for a new Jeanné machine is almost $1,500.00.
