Relisted due to Dick Byer, who flaked out...Come and get it. FOR REAL.1967 Gibson made in USA. Kalamazoo Bass Guitar.
Short scale. All original parts. Just set up and plays as well as possible.
Short scale basses, Hofner, Harmony, Kay etc, will always have "imperfections", like a buzz here, a hot spot there. Part of the magic, in my opinion. This Kalamazoo, was played for a short time in church by an older lady, but has spent most of it's life in the closet.
Nice light flatwounds make playing easy, and as for sound, this is a bulldozer. Very close cousin to the Gibson EB-O series. It does that one thing...very well.
This pickup is hot. And will not be in the guitar range. This is a BASS and your band mates will notice.
Pickguard is original and has tiny chips near the screw holes. A few scuffs and a couple chips in the paint. But, this is really about as nice as you will find.
Note, you may prefer a different set up for your playing preferences. There is plenty room at neck for shims, bridge for height etc.,
Bass will ship in a gig bag.
