Here we have a Fender American Vintage Reissue '57 Stratocaster built way back in 1986. Fender guitars from this era were known to be made from older Fullerton factory parts and are coveted by many players and collectors because of their Custom Shop-like high quality. These are the first guitars to come out of the Fender custom shop in Corona, CA. This guitar is all original except for the 5 way switch.The finish is the highly desired lake placid blue. The back of the body has some finish checking giving this guitar a nice natural relic. The sound is very woody in tone and rings like a bell. The frets are in good shape. Stays in tune.
