Custom KxK 8DC, double cut, 8 string guitar custom made in California. KxK is a one man shop located in CA and primarily makes guitars geared towards metal musicians or musicians who like to shred. They make custom guitars for KK Downing of Judas Priest, Karl Sanders of Nile & the list continues. They do not market themselves to dealers and are not found in stores and rarely come up on the used market. I am the original owner and help spec this with the builder, the quality is incomparable but if I had to compare it's close to ViK, Mayones Master Builder level. KxK also focuses primarily on seven string builds so getting an eight string is even harder to come by. This is the third 8DC to date, the fifth 8 string from KxK collectivly.
