Its controls include a velocity sensitive keyboard with after-pressure, a ribbon controller with pitch and gate CV outputs, and a touch surface controlled with X,Y,A, and gate outs. The synth has 1,024 presets, 896 of which are user writable.
The Voyager XL's sound engine is powered by 3 analog oscillators with continuously variable waveforms that can be manipulated by a variety of on-board parameters including 2 active attenuators, a 4 input CV mixer, dual LFOs, 2 modulation busses, and more. The synth also features external audio inputs, allowing you to use the Voyager XL to manipulate your tracks. Its expansive CV, gate, and modulation options can be routed via the front-panel patchbay with the 10 included patch cables.
