Check out my version of the 2011 Cherry finish Gibson Explorer! I changed out the Pick-guard for a matte black version, and then added a Floyd Rose FRX tremolo System WITH the EVH D-Tuna system as a bonus!One of Gibson's 5 iconic designs, the Explorer (in my opinion) is the hardest rocking of the bunch. It's Solid mahogany, and loaded with 2 humbuckers and top-quality hardware, the Explorer is truly a piece of rock weaponry that can do it all. Guitar is equipped with:Mini-Grover tunersRosewood FretboardMahogany Neck and Body496 Humbucker Pickups (Bridge and Neck)Tune-o-Matic BridgeHardshell CaseI have also added the Floyd Rose FRX Tremolo System. The FRX is a direct swap for the Tune-o-matic and stopbar type bridge system, using the existing mounting stud holes and requiring no routing whatsoever. The locking nut mounts behind your guitar's existing nut, in place of the truss rod cover.I've also installed the EVH D-Tuna System. D-Tuna, that enables players to drop from E to D and back, in a flash...
