1973 Rickenbacker 4001 Bass killer patina w/a MONSTER VIBE !
This is the last of the coolest 4001’s w/all 60’s features in the most desirable Fireglo finish, its got the last of the Checkerboard bound bodies & its crushed pearl inlaid bound fingerboard, really straight & great playing neck-thru body design, stock electronics include its “Toaster” rhythm pickup & its punchy lead pickup still retaining its chrome thumb rest cover, perfect working Grover tuners, clean white single layer pickgard & chrome capped knobs, she has some definite play time as she is the ultimate player, having an “MG” serial # dates this bad boy to being completed in February 1973, pot codes date to the 1st week of 1973, she’s excellent – overall & 100% original, comes with a decent hard case.
