After months of considering it, I will let go this jewel. It is an original 3 digit piece, number #419. It is refaced by one of the best refacers in earth. He worked also for Michael Brecker and he refaced this one with the same facing curve and baffle to what Mike asked him to change for his own. The baffle is lowered towards a more traditional direction than the MBI, more like Brecker used to order as well. Fat sound in all registers, very easy emission, very balanced and with the various advantages that characterize the Original Guardalas. For the original piece I paid 1800€, plus 250€ for the refacing work. I must to insist that I'm not allowed to reveal the refacer's name, not even to the buyer, since he seriously asked me not to do it and I don't want to have any personal, moral or even legal problems with this matter in the future. Thank you for understanding. If you like, you can buy it, that's it. I have put a really nice buy it now price because this fact, since If I could reveal de refacer, it would probably cost much more. The videos are recorded with this exact mouthpiece as it is, using 3M D'Addario Jazz Unfiled Reeds. No cap and lig, sorry about that. Here you can see it in action in a simphonyc orchestra rehearsal, and also in a video with my quartet.https://youtu.be/qH3NoREGjIghttps://youtu.be/ppmhkfp4qD4Thank you!
