Description
Brand: VENTURA Body Color: Sunburst

Warm, articulate, and bold. Like other Ventura guitars of the era, this 70s Howard Roberts shows great attention to detail, excellent quality and killer performance. Made in the Matsumoku factory as were many of the best Ibanez guitars of this period. As nice or nicer than many higher priced Ibanez "lawsuit" copies I've seen! Great quality and specs throughout. The hollow body is gorgeous, and features the trademark oval soundhole. The mahogany neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with cool inlays. A floating style humbucker dishes out smoky jazz tone. Unique volume/midrange/treble controls allow you to dial in your tone. Sealed tuners and a floating bridge keep it rock solid.  The sunburst finish really shows off the woodgrain. Fancy appointments include gold hardware, multiple binding and tons of inlay including the L-5 style flowerpot on the headstock. A great jazz, blues or rockabilly guitar that's just dripping with style and tone! This Ventura plays and sounds nice. This guitar delivers a big round tone, and is in very good condition. It has been well taken care of, and some natural fading of the gold hardware. Comes in hardshell case.
